About Amedex

Integrated capability
across six sectors.

Since 2026, Amedex has operated across the physical infrastructure that Ghana depends on. We are not a consulting firm. We are an operator — we hold equipment, employ engineers, and manage the assets we build.

Our purpose

The infrastructure layer Ghana runs on.

Ghana's infrastructure deficit is not a procurement problem — it is an operator problem. Projects are funded, designed, and built. Then they are handed to institutions that lack the technical capacity to maintain them. Within five years, the road needs resurfacing, the water system needs re-engineering, the cold store has failed.

Amedex was founded to close that gap. We take long-term operational responsibility for what we build. Our engagements typically run 10–25 years under design-build-operate or operations and maintenance contracts. We are accountable for lifecycle performance, not just handover certificates.

That model requires depth: engineers who know the assets, equipment that is maintained and available, management systems that can produce auditable records for any funding institution that asks. We have built that depth deliberately from day one.

How we operate

What we hold ourselves to.

Accountability over subcontracting.

We own the outcome. Where we can deliver with our own people and equipment, we do. We subcontract specialist components — but never accountability.

Lifecycle costing, not upfront price.

The cheapest bid rarely produces the cheapest infrastructure. We design for whole-life cost, not initial capital outlay.

Institutional-grade documentation.

Every project produces a full record — as-built drawings, O&M manuals, environmental compliance files — that can be audited by any funding institution.

Local delivery, international standards.

Our workforce is Ghanaian. Our practices align with World Bank Environmental and Social Framework, ISO 9001, and FIDIC contract norms.

Executive team

The people who run it.

A small founding team with deep operational experience across the disciplines we deliver in Ghana. No sector is managed by a generalist.
